First, I must say, a big thanks to everyone who contributed to OUR blog about wonderful Super Sarah! So often I found myself responding thusly to you all:

To Shannon Lui I responded: 

Hi Shannon:

You have like rock-star status in the pantheon of Sarah’s friends, so you just take your time!

 (Oops, she was asking for an extension of the "due date," but if you know anything about Sarah and Shannon's shared quirkiness and relationship--that's about right!  And, that's the way they both like it!).

To Dawn Dausman: (What exactly was your last name?  You are always "Dawnie" to us!  Basham, I think)

Thanks, Dawn!  This collection would be fatally incomplete without you!

To Jenny Heaton (who makes me believe in "friends at first sight" because of the freaky way she and Sarah melded from the time they met) I wrote:

Every product has an active ingredient implying its importance, and “Jenny Heaton” would be listed amongst these in the ingredients of Sarah’s life!  Hope all is well!  Can’t wait to share your thoughts with Sarah!

I began to worry, "Maybe these people will think I am just sending the same flattering sentiments to everyone..."  Then I got it:  The reason why Sarah feels so crucially connected to so many of you, is that she has been crucial and vital to so many of us!!!! An obvious thought, but also a profound one.

So, thank you everyone!  Even if I didn't send you a buttery comment back, you are loved and appreciated for your role in Sarah's life and the words and pictures you have offered!

A small note about organization:  

 Ok, so how to organize these.  At first I thought about different categories or time sequences, and then I thought, "What so many love about Sarah is she is just . . . kind of take me as you find me!  Like a trip through a meadow with pretty things here and there to find...sort of randomly!"  So enjoy this random trip through your notes to Sarah on this her 40th Birthday!
